TO-DAY'S FORECAST. GOYEENMENT REPORT. The Government meteorologist reported last evening as follows —Present indications are for moderate to strong east to north winds, northward of Eaj.t Cape and Kawhia, and nori/ -westerly to southwesterly winds; elsewhere; weather fair to clondy generally, but dull and misty at times with scattered rainfall. The barometer shows little movement.

Vincent last evening: The weathei: is likely to become cloudy to overcast, with heavy rain following, especially in northern and east coast dis. tricts, under the influence of the tropical disturbance developing to the north-west of the Dominion. Easterly to northeasterly winds, moderate to strong, prevailing and freshening. Seas rough, particularly on east coast. Barometer, —30.30 in.; steady.
