Mr. R. E. Hornblow,. Mayor of Dargaville, stated yesterday that the arrangements for the rowing match between Dick Arnst and Paddy Hannan for a purse of £500, are practically complete. He was only awaiting the. completion of a few details from Australia. The race is to be rowed on the Northern Wairoa River.
