The erection of a tablet in the Auckland Grammar School hall to the memory of the late Mr. J. W. Tibbs was d* cided npon at the annual meeting of the Old Boy's Association. It was also decided to provide an annual prize for mathematics to he known as fee Tibbs Memorial Prize. ; Before the business was commenced the association placed on record its deep regret at the death of the late headmaster.
