Various matters .Connected with the present position of the, freezing industry in the Dominion are being considered by a congress of freezing workers' unions which opened in Wellington this morning. The congress was called by the New Zealand Freezing Workers' *Fcderation and is sitting under the chairmanship of its president, Mr. A. Baker. Delegates are present from all parts of New. Zealand and the proceedings are likely to last several days. It is seven years since a similar conference, apart from the annual convention, was held.
