At a meeting of the executive of' the Christchurch branch of the Returned Soldiers' Association to-day, a discussion took place 1 concerning the dispute which lias arisen between the Auckland branch of the association and headquarters, regarding the allocation of the Poppy Day funds. It was stated that if unemployment acute among returned soldiers during the winter, 80 per cent, of the proceeds of the Poppy Day sales could be devoted to the relief of such unemployment. It was decided - unanimously to approve of the disposal of the Poppy Day funds as decided by the Dominion executive.
