DEATH IN A WELL.
old-age PENSIONER'S END. [BY TELEGRAPH. OWN CORE ESPOKDEXT-] "WAIHI. Tuesday. The body, of the missing old-aja pensioner,, Charles Sergeant, was found to-day by the police in the well neot his home. It is presumed that ha went to draw a bucket of water by means of,.the windlass and that he fell in. Had ho cried for help he would not have been heard, as his home is in an isolated place, at least half a mild from the nearest neighbour.
