AUSTRALIA'S WAR DEBT.
BASIS OF REPAYMENT. A. and N.Z. LONDON. Feb, 22. Mr. Philip Snowden, Chancellor of the Exchequer, when interrogated regarding Australia's arrangement to repay the -war debt she owes to Britain, explained that the repayment, spread over 36 years, was based on interest at slightly Tinder 5 per cent.
