OPERA HOUSE.'" .-> The new programme to be presented' at Fuller's Opera House ' this afternoon contains a . variety of interesting items, . which should maintain the high standard . set -by the ■ previous *jprogramme.- ; S'Les.-'"';-''-Warton and the Pot Pounds, Ltd., will : appear in novel acts, 1 and the popular : patter artists, Slavin and Thompson, will also introduce frash turns. Lloyd and "7-■'.:••■■ Raymond, simultaneous dancers, Dnrno ~ - the trick cyclist, and Miss Rosina Gordon, vocalist, will each present a variety of .». selections. An entirely new production, entitled " Athletic Frolics," will be staged by George Wallace's Revue Company. ->\ LYRIC THEATRE. An attractive picture, "To. the. Last Man," is the principal film on this week's programme at thi Lyric Theatre. All the action of the picture takes place in the picturesque country of Arizona, where the scenes were actually taken under the personal supervision of Zane Grey, the author of the novel of the same name. The story tells of the historic feud which existed in the eighties of last century between the ranchers and the sheepmen. By ; chance, the daughter of the leader of one faction meets the son of the opposing leader, and friendship springs up between them. Lois Wilson and Richard Dix have the principal roles. There is a good supporting programme of minor pictures. TTVOLI THEATRE. An attractive programme is that at present being screened at the Tivoli Theatre, where the principal picture is, "The Sage Hen." The story is based •■ on the separation of a mother and, her son over a number of years. The boy is practically a baby when circumstances force his mother to send him away. Ho returns when a young man just in time to save his mother from her enemies. The outstanding character, that of tho mother, is adequately taken by Gladys Brockwell. who gives one. of her best performances to date. The time when much of the action takes place is the early eighties of last century, when the gold rushes in. Western America were at their height. MUNICIPAL ORGAN RECITALS. The municipal organ recitals in the Town Hall will be resumed on Saturday evening next. The city organist will,play works by Mendelssohn, Hollins. Widor and Kreisler.
