ARGENTINE MEAT EXPORTS. FOUR MONTHS' SHIPMENTS. [by TELEGRAPH.PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON, Monday. This New Zealand - Meat Producers* Board has received a cablegram from its representative at Buenos Aires, advising that the following meat shipment* were made to the United Kingdom from the Argentine for the four weeks ;nded February 9:339,410 quarters of chilled beef, 82,114 quarters of fr>zen beef, 201,678 carcases of frozen mutton, and 154,497 carcases of frozen lamb. The quantity shipped to the Continent of Europe during the same period consisted of 229,879 quarters of frozen beef and 50,675 carcases of frozen mutton, INSURANCE APPOINTMENTS. Smith liom the position of manager in New Zealand for the Phoenix Assurance Company, the directors have as from March 81 appointed Mr. W. E. A. Gill to be controlling officer in New Zealand for the Phoenix Assurance Company, Ltd., the Norwich Union .Fire Insurance Society, Ltd., and the Union .Marine Insurance Company. Lid. Mr. H. W.
