SPURTS AT HAMILTON. \ [by telegraph.— correspondent.] HAMILTON, Saturday. The Hamilton Motor-Cycle Club's annual race meeting was held on the Claudelands racecourse to-day. There was,, an attendance of over 5000. The course was very, rough and called for the utmost skill on the part of the riders. The starters ranged in number from nine to six .and they provided/interesting races with exciting finishes. The moat prominent feature of the meeting was-* the brilliant riding of Percy Coleman, of Palmerston. who, though heavily handicapped, secured two firsts and a second, Coleman put up ihe fastest time and did a lap—one mile. 110 • yards—-in 53 2-3aec. Cycle races, in which the entries were particularlyrfHlumerous, were run off between the motor-cycle event*. The results were: * Novice Handicap, five laps.—L, Curtis Hamilton.
