LAWN TENNIS.
INTER-CLUB MATCHES. The inter-club lawn tennis matches under the auspices of the Auckland Lawn Tennis Association were played at the Stanley Street courts on Saturday afternoon, The' conditions were favourable, except that the boisterous breeze was disconcerting as it was blowing strongly across the courts. In the B grade games Eden and Epsom defeated Onehunga by seven to one, B grade was won by Otahuhu, thin team winning by 10 games to 2 against Takapuna, Papatoetoe boat Mamirewa by 11' games to 2.
