CHILDREN'S MISSION.
EIGHTH ANNUAL MEETING. The Advisory Council of the Children's Mission held its eighth annual meeting last week, Mr. W. R. Wilson, chairman of the mission, presiding. The superintendent, the Rev. E. Palgrave Davy, reported having conducted young-life .campaigns in many centres in the North and. South Islands of New Zealand, also ia America and Great.. Britain. . Sand-'' _ services and pastimes were organised on the beaches of New Brunswick, Canada. Since the inauguration of the mission, he had unfolded to the young people John. Bu—arrs allegories. The Pilgrims ProsrcLi" and " The Holy War," dramatising and adapting them to the mind and tasto of the 20, century child. -..,, A letter was read from the secretary of the Sunday-school Union Council of Victoria, inviting Mr. Davy to visit Australia \ as soon as practicable to organise yotmg people's work on'the beaches, and to address pupils in the churches, schools, and colleges in the State of Victoria. The matter is under consideration. •
