FALL DOWN SHIP'S HOLD.
COW BREAKS MAN'S LEG.
A waterside worker, Mr. Walter Knight, while working on the Bemuera yesterday afternoon, fell down the ■ hold, receiving injuries to his Vick from ft dog hook, which entered the flesh. Mr. Knight was removed to the hospital, hut is not in a serious condition. He is a married man, 46 years of age, and resides at 147, Vic--toria Street Wist. . A man, 24 years of age, Mr. William Irvine, was admitted to the Auckland Hospital yesterday afternoon suffering from a fracture of the right leg, the result of a kick by a cow. Mr. Irvine, who is employed by Mr. T. Thompson, inn., farmer, of Waiuku, was injured on Wednesday, was admitted to the Waiuku Hospital, and transferred to the city yesterday. ' '■ '
