PROPERTY SALES.

Several properties were sold at auction yesterday by Samuel Vaile and Sons. Ltd. A seven-roomed residence and half an acre of land with a frontage of 12ft. to Remuera Road and 162 ft. to Ely Avenue, realised £'i 525. Under instructions from the Public Trustee a parcel of land of about 4i acres, with nearly 500 feet frontage to Asquith Avenue. Mt. Albert, . was sold for 3000. A house of two rooms with scullery on a section with a frontage of 49ft. 6in. to Sockville Street, Grey Lynn, realised £605. Under instructions from the Registrar of the Supreme Court, Mr. C. F. Bennett sold at auction 183 acres of land, together with a Biz-roomed house and outbuildings, at Pirongia, for £2300 , ' ' " A bouse of 4 . rooms in Murdoch Road, Grey Lynn, was sold at auction by William Home. Ltd.. for £820. A property in Birdwood Road. Papatoetoe, with one acre in pasture and a small orchard and a 4--roomed house and outbuildings, realised £1100. A house of 4 rooms and a section with a frontage of 59 feet .at Foch Avenue. Dominion Road, was bought by the mortgagee for . 1020. A property at Birkenhead, of 11 acres with a house, was also offered and was passed in at £700. The property known as "The Mount." Symonds Street, wive offered for auction yesterday at the rooms of T. Jackson, • Commerce Street. The building is a two-storeyed one of eleven rooms, the land being a city leasehold with an unexpired term of ten years, a proportion of compensation to be paid at the end of that period. The ground rental is £50 a year. The land has a frontage of 200 ft. to Symonds Street. Bidding was started at £3000. but when this bid nad been increased by £200 the property was passed in.
