DULLNESS OF LONDON^
Being under the delusion that the walls of her apartment would fall on her, and having stated that she had, seen so much misery in London that she did not think life was worth living, Isabel • Phillips, aged- 26, of Grenville Street, Russell Square, was found in. 'her bedroom in an unconscious oondition. Near her was a bottle and a tumbler containing poison. She died at the Royal' Free Hospital. At the inquest, it was stated that Miss Phillips, who was staying at the Residential Club for Girls, complained of "the dullness of London and longed for the sunshine of South Africa.
