Coates, has accepted tho invitation •tif the Oparau Dairy Company to officially open the. hydro-electric installation at the company's factory. The Minister states that the probable date is December 5. Tho plant is in first-class working order. The power i.» derived/from the Mangapapa Falls, about a mile distant, and iV sufficient to run ■ the factory iraoJ.ir.ery > and light the v Oparau township. Surplus • power is available for driving the milking plants of neighbouring farmers.
