DEMONSTRATIONS BY JUDGES

The General Committee of the Agricultural and Pastoral Association met yesterday, Mr. S. Hodge presiding. Matters relating to the forthcoming show were considered. The secretary reported that various judges had written acceding to the request to give demonstrations on the point of different breeds oi cattle and sheep. Charges for admission to the show were fixed at the same rate as last year. It was decided that the charge for adults be 2s, children under 16 years Is, children under 10 years free, school children in charge of teachers to be admitted free on Friday, Eecember 7.. Arrangements in connection with carrying out the milking test for the Lovell and Christmas Cup were discussed at length. It was decided to leave the matter in the hands of the cattle stewards.

Space charges for trade exhibits and side-shows were fixed at the same rates as last year.' Thirty-one new members were elected.
