'", A big building scheme in the New North .Boad is proposed by N.Z. Cars and -Motors, Ltd! An area comprising a frontage to New North Boad of 133 ft., with a .'depth of 200 ft. and a frontage to Nikau Street of 100 ft., has been acquired by the J' company, and it is intended to build by sections en the whole area.
'.'.'.'. A new three-storey block is in course of erection, and is the first flection of the scheme. These premises are of reinforced concrete, special attention being paid to solidarity. A large show room will be on the ground floor. Access to the upper floors'will) be provided for by stairs at on© end of the block, and a ramp for cars at the other. When the scheme is completed, it will be the largest garage in the Dominion. ;
