RELUCTANT WITNESSES.

SYDNEY, Nov. 8 At the pony racing inquiry one trainer alleged that trainers, bookmakers, and jockeys we're afraid to give evidence because they had been victimised in the oast and were afraid they would be so Lain. He dio not think it was tho jockeys' ring which engineered a race. Ho thought the reported drugging c* horses was a myth.
