FIRE NEAR ROTORUA.
SIX-ROOMED HOUSE BURNED. (BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT J ROTORUA. Wednesday. A dwelling on Mr. J. Falloona's property in Rotorua Valley, was burnt to the ground at 8 o'clock this morning. None of the contents were saved. The building, which contained six rooms, waa recently renovated throughout, and additions were made at a cost of over £400. The cause of the outbreak is unknown. The occupier, after breakfast at 7 o'clock, locked up the houso and went to work. Shortly afterwards, he saw the building in flames, but nothing could be done to save it. The premises, which were insured for £200, were valued at £800.
