NORTH SHORE CLUB. A special meeting of present and intending members of the North Shore Rowing Club will be held in the Clubhouse, King Edward Parade, Dovonport, this evening at 7.30, to arrange the details of the opening day, which the committee has fixed tor Saturday. November 17, and to make arrangements for the coaching of new members. As this is the jubilee year of the club, a epecial effort is being made by old members to make the season a record one. Veterans who were prominent in days gone by are rallying to the bme colours, and as a practical example of their sincerity to help, are acting as coaches to the younger members. Classes of instruction are being formed. The plant has been overhauled. ST. GEORGE'S CLUB. TRIAL FOURS. The St. George's Rowinpr Club's first trial fours for the season will oe held on Saturday. November 17. Entries close next Saturday at 5 p.m. The annual "At home" will be held at the clubhouse, Judges Bay, on December H. The events for this function will consist, of the final only of club '-''als, which will be held the previous Saturday. An old members' race and swimming races will also be held.
