LAUNCH HUANA SAFE.

ARRIVAL AT PORT CHARLES.

NEVER IN ANY DANGER.

The missing launch Huana and its occupants, Messrs. E. Blomfield and W. Dale, of Kelvin House, Hobson Street, Auckland, are safe at Port Charles, on the ocean side of the Coromandel Peninsula, to the south of Cape Colville. The launch arrived there last Thursday at 8 p.m. Both men aro in excellent health. They hope to return to Auckland tomorrow. Tho two men left Auckland at 2 a.m. on Thursday, and were cruising practically a'. 1 day, passing down the gulf near Coromandel, thence northward to Watchman Island, north of Port Charles. When the south-westerly came up, they made for Bronlund's beach, reaching there just in time fo 1 * tea. The wanderers have since spent most of their time fishing and roaming around the farm.' They were surprised to hear that their friends had become alarmed, for at no time- were they in any difficulty whatever. Tho anxiety that was felt in Auckland for tho two men's safety was due to the facts that they were expected to return about 3 p.m. last Thursday, and that there was no food and only very little water on the launch. Surprise was expressed when it was learned that the launch had gone beyond the gulf.
