The erection in brick of a Roman Catholic school at Onehunga is to"; bo 'undertaken shortly, as tenders are now being- called for the work. The specifications provide for modern school equipment and special, lighting arrangements. The school will accommodate 350 pupils, and will cost about £5700. 'A similar school 'on a slightly smaller scale is being built -at Thames for . the Rev, Father Dignan. ; It will seat about 250 pupils. The estimated cost is £4000. Messrs.
