NEW COUNCIL ASSEMBLES.

" j V The council received a request to meet the City-Council in committee on Thursday evening, to consider the I' matter of; tramway "extensions on the main roads. It was decided -that as many, members as possible should attend. • T /,: ■In a short review, of : matters requiring attention, Ihe Mayor "mentioned the need for better accommodation at the fire brigade station.
