MT. EDEN BAPTIST CHURCH.
The 38th anniversary of tlio Mfc. Eden Baptist Church was oelebrated on Sunday. The Rev. W. Perry, of the Mt. Eden United Evangelical Church, conducted the morning service. Mr. Wilfred Firth, a former choirmaster, was the soloist in the morning. The preacher in the evening was the Rev. Adam Clarke, with whom . was . associated Miss Bradfield, missionary on furlough, and v Mr. Harry Jones, missionary-elect, who i. expects to be proceeding to the Indian mission field early next month.. The choir, under the baton of Mr. H. Auger, rendered numerous anthems. Several friends who were connected with \the church in its earlier days were present.
