SEAMEN GO SLOW.
POOR FOOD ALLEGED.
A. and N.Z. - BRISBANE, Aug. 6. On arrival of the South Australian Government's steamer Adelaide, members of the crew stated that on account of the poor quality of the food on a recent northsiii cruise the n;sn called a meeting of the lower deck, and decided to goslow at work. Whenever the vessel coaled someone cut the falls attached to several boats to attract the attention of the officers. Captain ' Stevenson, interviewed, declined any comment. ■■■".'■'...'
