' A. arid N.Z. • ''.'•; .'., MADRID. Aug. ~ 3. : ' The banking business is. disorganised as- a result of a strike of bank clerks for higher wages. Numbers of clerks who were brought from England to replace the malcontents, were , intimidated. Consequently the Westminster Bank closed its doors, and % two other banks - have ceased business. The banks refuse to reinstate the strikers unless they , resign from the union, which they state is controlled by Communists. There have been some disorders, and 20 arrests have been made.
