VISIT PAID TO SUVA.
[feom our own correspondent.] - • ' SUVA. July 24. H.M.S. Veronica'has left for ,Samoa, and she proposes to , return to Suva in some three weeks' time. During her stay here there were many social functions. The personnel assisted in producing; " Trial by Jury " at an entertainment arranged by the Defence dub. The naval men acquitted themselves splendidly. Then the ship shot off a match with the Suva Rifle Club on Sunday last and the local men won. A soccer match ended in a narrow win for Suva by one goal to nil. ; , . -.:■:' i ■'■
