APPOINTMENT OF SECRETARY P -COM. REGINALD BUTCHER. Australian and N.Z. Cab'e Association. (Heed. 4.5 p.m.) LONDON. July 24.' Paymaster-Commander Reginald Butcher has been appointed secretary to the New Zealand, Naval Board, and will sail by the Rotorua. Paymaster-Commander Reginald Butcher is 43 years of age. Appointed an assistant clerk in 1897, he -was promoted assist-ant-paymaster in 1901., paymaster in 1911, and staff paymaster in 1915. He "was decorated for bis services during the war to the Senior Naval Officer at Gibraltar, and the c admiral commanding the Orkneys and Sbetlands, ' and in 1919 he was created a C.M.G.
