CROQUET.
THE PAPATOETOE CLUB. The Papatoetog Croquet Club held its annual meeting on Saturday evening. The election of officers resulted in last year's executive being re-elected as follows: — President, Mrs. Thompson; vice-presi-dentß, Mesdames R. McCullough and W Cutforth; secretary and treasurer, Mrs' J. Bryant; committee Mesdames' Daisley, Nettlingham, Hall, and Misses Gane and Hamilton. Satisfaction was expressed at the result of last year's inter-club play' Papatoetoe Club came a good second in the junior grade, being only 40 points below Eden and Epsom. . ST. HELIERS BAY CLUB, The annual meeting of the St. Heliers Bay . Croquet Club was held on Saturday Mrs. Biggs, vice-president, presided over a good attendance. _ The following officers were elected President, Mrs. Friar; vicepresidents, Misses Appleyard and Fostersecretary and treasurer, Mrs. F. E. Lowe* assistant secretary, Mrs. Russell; genera] committee, Mesdames Diamond, Hutchinson, and Skene;- match committee, Mrs. Francis, Rev. C. Houchen, and Mr.' Russell; delegate to association, Rev! Houchen, and the secretary. It was decided to play inter-club as. usual. Several now members were «lected.
