BOWLING.
THE OTAHUHU CLUB. The annua] euchre tournament and social of the Otabuhu Bowling Club was held on Friday evening,' when notwithstanding the inclement weather, there was a large attendance. The music by Mr. Burnand's orohestra, and a capable M.C., all conduced to an enjoyable evening. The euchre prizes wore won by Mrs. Patton and Mrs. Snell, the latter after a tie be - tween Mrs. Baker and Mrtk Snell . Mrs, Nixon won the booby prize. In the men's division ties wore ■ played off between Messrs. Aiken, Ferguson, Nixon, and Far ell ey,'. the winners being Messrs. Aiken and Ferguson. Mr. T. George won the booby prize,, A number of new members were enrolled. The future of the club looks bright and prosperous. . The following were winners of the competitions played during the season : — Champion of the green, Mr. Ken. Lippiat; champion pairs, S. E. Harper and A. Campbell j handicap singles, B. Smith; handicap pairs, A,. MoLarnon and M. Tomes; percentage fours. B. Smith, I. Gardiner, A. Phillips, and Ken. Lippiat; trailing competition, T. Henery* . driving, J. Aiken; v drawing,! A. Campbell; guarding, S. E. Harper Boxing Day tournament, J. Thomason, C. B. Whitmore, 8. A. Fernly; New Year tournament, W. Ferguson, J. Aiken; anniversary pairs, A. Campbell and J. Aiken. '
