QUESTION OF FIRE BOARD. [BY TELEGRAPn.--OWN CORRESPONDENT.] NGABtTAWAHIA, Saturday. ; The Borough Council {last night .discussed the formation of a fire board. Councillors were of the opinion that there was no need for a board and action was. deferred until another communication .Was received from the Underwriters' Association. The question of enlarging and improving the Town Hall was also discussed, the Mayor, Mr. Martin, stating that an expenditure of £1000 or £1200 ; , in this work would be . justified.
