Miss Gladys Reynolds, a daughter of Mr. Richard Reynolds, Cambridge, met with a , serious accident last evening, whioh almost cost her her life. ;v
t Miss Reynolds was • riding and, -when near Mr. NoelPeake's residence on the Hamilton road, the horse . made a misstep, causing it to . fall backward into a deep drain. The rider was, pinned underneath for fully 20 minutes. Mr. Peake assisted the horse' from • the drain, relieving the unfortunate rider from her perilous position. . Had the full weight of the horsa rested on the .rider a few minutes longer, death would have ensued. .'.'•■:
