DOCTOR'S GRISLY PROPOSAL.

'GLANDS TO RESTORE YOUTH.

A. and N.Z. LONDON, July 17. * The Prince of Wales opened the Congress of the International Society of Surgery. The delegates include Dr. Voronoff, the expert in monkey gland treatment for old age. Dr. Voronoff said that during the past year the Pasteur Institute had sent a commission to Africa to construct a park in which to breed chimpanzees, but he believed that the best results were obtained from human glands. These could be obtained from dead people. The glands of healthy youths who died should be stored in a freezing . chamber and used to rejuvenate the old. Seven hundred and forty-eight delegates, representating 28. nations, attended the opening of the congress.
