• EXTENSION OF DRAINAGE.

DEPARTMENT APPROVES SCHEME.

The One Tree Hill Road Board met last evening, those present being Messrs. R. G. Clark, chairman, T. Rovve, F. Chapman, 0. L. Mcintosh, and C. Purchas. ' .

It was reported that building permits issued during the month numbered 17, representing a- total of £8239. • A report upon the water supply was received from the hospital bacteriologist, Dr. W. Gilmour, stating that the sample was clear and free from deposit, and con. tained no free chlorine, and that the result of chlorination was satisfactory. The engineer, Mi*. J. Dawson, reported that plans of the One Tree Hill drainage extension scheme had been approved by the Department of Health.
