DAIRY FARMERS' UNION.
Sir,ln the Herald of May 24, a letter appears stating that no branch of the Dairy Farmers' Union, was formed in Clevedon. Mr. Fear is in the southern part of this island at present. As acting Secretary of the Dairy Farmers' Union provincial executive, formed recently at Pukekohe, I offer a reply on his behalf. In his address Mr. Fear explained the work he had done in forming : 21 branches and that five others were not quite completed. It is just possible that an error may have crept in regarding Clevedon, quite unintentionally. I therefore offer on his behalf an ' apology : for that error. No one will regret this mishap more than Mr. Fear, as on that occasion he received a good hearing with thanks. We therefore ask : the acceptance of our apology in the same kindly spirit, by tho Clevedon branch, New Zealand Farmers' Union, as that which has inspired this reply. ,; ■ A. ;■ Pari Horns.
