RESULTS AT MOUNT ALBERT.

The fourth week •of'? the Auckland Ppultrykeepers' Association's fifth singlepen t and team egg-laying competition ended on Monday. Tho birds are settling down, and some exceptional , laying look, place during the week among the heavy,, breeds, most of the birds in full lay giving six and seven eggs for the week. In the Black Orpington class 27 possibles were recorded. A. E. Cambie's No. 1, R. B. Cruickshank's No. 1, and Masson and Masson's team vof ; Black Orpingtons each laid 20 ' eggs out of a possible 21. The officials of the association are delighted at the first month's laying. In the duck section 13 individual possibles were recorded and J. Owen and R. Kerry's teams of Runners laid 20 eggs each. Thirty birds out of the 72 in the ducks are not laying, being affected by the shifting. - The following are the leading teams to date, the first three sets of figures being the individual totals, the figures in j parentheses the week's total of the three birds combined, and the last figures th& team's total.
