OBITUARY.
MAS. SUSAN E. DAYKIN. *
Mrs. Susan Elizabeth Day km, widow of * the late Mr, Samuel Daykin. died at ha* residence, Lake Road, North cot*, somewhat suddenly. on Wednesday, while attending to her garden. Mra. Daykin, who was 80 years of age, had resided at Northoote for over 35 years. She was ' born in Nottingham, and cam© to Now Zealand nearly 40 years tgo., She was a resident of Rotorua at the time of the Tarawera eruption in 1886. Her husband predeceased her by 20 years. Mrs. v Daykin is survived by two daughters, Mrs. M. Jennings, of Northccfe, and Mrs. W. Milford, of Wellington, : besides 13 grand children and 16 great-grandchildren.
