FINE AUTUMN DISPLAY. [BY telegraph.-— correspondent.'] ;,; ; HAMILTON. Friday. The Hamilton Horticultural Society's Autumn Show was held yesterday. The frost experienced this week killed many dahlias and consequently the entries in this class were weak. Some magnificent chrysanthemums and dahlias were exhibited and were favourably commented on by all who sa,w them. The champion chrysanthemum.', was . a Lady Stanley, grown by Mr. G.B. Stanley, of Cambridge. Mr. Stanley also won the dahlia championship with a bloom of the Oceanic variety. '- The decorative classes attracted mucK attention. The tables and bowls were very beautiful.
