SIR JOSEPH RESENTFUL.
[by telegraph.— CORRESPONDENT.] MOREINSVILLE, Wednesday.
Sir Joseph Ward was in an angry mood at Morrinsvillo last night. His speech consisted mainly of a diatribe against the New Zealand Herald for reporting Mr. Massey fully, and a reply to the criticism offered by Mr. Massey and the Herald, more particularly against his financial schemes. Sir Joseph Ward was particularly wrathful because his proposals for raising credit for paying for public works and other improvements had been described by Mr. Massey as " frenzied finance," and during a long reiteration of them and of the financial schemes he had placed on the Statute book in years gone by he frequently paused and dramatically exclaimed, "Do yo u call this 'frenzied finance V "
