Last night a telegram was received stating that the vessel was a considerable distance north of Ahipara, and • not south-west, as -previously reported; that she appeared to be inshore, and that a party had gone out by motor from Te Paki to investigate, and should return shortly. Any later report would bs forwarded for publication. , . A later message states that the party from Te Paki had returned from the head, but had seen nothing of the reported burning vessel.
