MEETING AT AVONDALE.
The Bay of Plenty Jockey Club's meeting, I to be held at Avondale to-day, may bo ex- | pected to attract a large concourse of racegoers to tho western suburb in the event of favourable weather conditions prevailing, for tho acceptances received are such as to ensure contests of a very interesting character.
