£1,000,000 INCURRED BY FRANCE
ROT t*r. PARTS. March 19. A letter from the Minister for Finance to the Finance Committees of the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies shows that Parliament has been asked to vote credits for 196,000,000 francs (nearly £8,000,000 at the per rate of the frunc) for expenditure in the Ruhr in the first four months of 1923 but 36,000, francs should bo deducted as the amount which the troops sciifc to the Ruhr would have cost had they remained at home.
