SUCCESS OF SOLDIERS.

The cream supply to the Opotiki dairy factory is showing a considerable increase over that of last year, and, owing to the phenomenal growth in the grass, a steady flow of cream to the factory is maintained. The directors of the company have been showing .prudence in the matter of payments, but it is intended to pay a substantial bonus at an early date. The healthy tone of the butter market with the resultant reasonable return for butter has been of material assistance to the soldier sittlers on the Woodlands soldiers' settlement. The whole of these settlers have gone in for milking, and heavily-laden cream carts arrive at the Opotiki factory daily. A very optimistic tone is prevailing among these soldier settlors. • t
