THE MATAMATA SHOW.
RECORD FIXTURE EXPECTED,
The Matamata A. and P. Association's 13th Annual Show, to be held to-morrow, promises to eclipse all previous fixtures held by this progressive association. In all departments large entries have been rbceived, the Champion Hunter event alone attracting no less than 19 entries. A feature of to-morrow's show will be the presence of the Prime Minister, who will officially open the show, and several Cabinet Ministers and other members of Parliament. Sir Joseph Ward and Mr. C. E. Macmillan, the two candidates for the vacant Tauranga seat, will also be present. Final arrangements are now well in hand, and it is confidenlty anticipated that, given fine weather, the attendance will be a record.
