SUSPENDED IN AIR.
A CARPENTER'S FALL. LONDON, Feb. 22. After falling head-first from the roof and turning a somersault in the air, a carpenter struck the iron railing of a house at Ealing. A spike of the railing pierced his foot and held the man suspended head-down-ward. He was rescued by workmen and firemen, and was found to be suffering from injuries to the head, back and foot.
