GALA DAY ON'SATURDAY.

RESULTS OF EVENTS.

The Mercer Regatta was held on the Waikato River on Saturday under splendid conditions. There was a largo attendance of spectators, and th« various events attracted good entries. Everything . went off well, due to tho energetic manner in which the various officers discharged their duties. The officials for the rowing races were Starter, Mr. W.' G. Mason; judge, Me. A. M.
