LATE REV. F. WARNER.
FUNERAL ON SATURDAY.
An impressive service in connection with the funeral of the late Rev. Frederic Warner was heW 'in the Mount Eden Congregational Church on Saturday afternoon. The service was conducted by the Rev. H, Johnston,.-who was assisted by the Rev. Dr. C. H. .Laws and the Revs. F. L. Frost, Shaw,Jand H. J. Ralph. There was an attendance of about 200 persons, ~pnie£ically every denomination being represented. Mr. J. P. Hooton was the organist. A large number of motor-cars, followed the hearse to Waikaraka Cemetery, where the burial service was conducted : by Mr. Johnston, assisted by Dr. Laws. ■- . At . the evening , service in the Newton Congregational Church yesterday, a resolution of sympathy with" the late Mr. Warner's family was passed, those prosent standing as a mark of respect to the deceased. It was stated that the Newton Church / was both the first and the Inst in' New Zealand at which the Rev, Warner preached. , ■
