RETURN FROM HOLIDAY.

He declined to v discuss politics, as he had not seen an English paper for eight days. He said he considered the French action in the Ruhr a, tactical mistake.. It was ominous that German s opinion "was solidly behind the ■ Government, and • Germany;no longer was giving way under pressure He was dead againsl the withdrawal of.the British troops 1 from the Rhine, which would only make matters worse. ;He was anxious to go to the United States, but if he did 'so it would be late this year. ■:.<■.
