ANNETTE KELLERMAN CUP.
COURSE MAPPED AT TIMARU. The, course which has been mapped out for the Annette Kellerman Cup race, one of the big features of the New Zealand championship carnival, which will commence at Timaru on January 27, is the best that could possibly have been secured. The race, which will be held in T&naru Harbour, is - for three miles, and ; Will start at the landing by the wharfinger's office on No. 1 wharf. The course; goes alongside the No. 1 wharf for a-quarter of a mile, then across the harbour, to the Marine Parade, and;.V from there back to the starting point, a triangular course, which cirooited, three times measures just four yards over three miles. The course selected will allow a big crowd of people to witness the whole race. ; .
